WHAT IS THE AMERICAN ROYAL?
The American Royal, a not-for-profit 501 (c) 3 organization, now in its 108th year, celebrates our region’s rich agricultural heritage through competition, education and entertainment. As a not-for-profit community volunteer based organization, the American Royal raises funds to fulfill its vision and mission though endowments, contributions, sponsorships and event revenues.
As an organization dedicated to youth and education, the American Royal reaches over 20,000 students with educational programs and events yearlong through the American Royal Museum, school tours KALF (Kids Agriculture Learning Fest) and other programs. The American Royal also grants over $1,300,000 annually in the form of scholarships, competitive prize monies and educational awards.
The American Royal, one of Kansas City’s premier fall events, annually hosts the World’s largest barbecue contest, one of the Midwest’s largest and oldest livestock exhibitions and professional rodeos, prestigious horse shows and is home of the National Championship Saddlebred horse competition. The American Royal Rodeo was voted one of the top five rodeos in the country in 2004 by the PRCA (Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association) and was the National Championship hors show was voted best horse show in the country in 2002, by the UPHA (United Professional Horseman’s Association).

WHAT IS THE PRAIRIE CIRCUIT RODEO?
The circuit system is a movement on the part of the Professional Rodeo Cowboys association to encourage greater participation and interest in rodeos through a championship system on the regional level. To that end , the United States has been divided into 12 geographic Circuits, in which the Prairie Circuit is made up of Kansas, Nebraska, and Oklahoma.

HOW ARE EVENTS SCORED?
Points are awarded for each of the eight events based on the order of finish during each of the 13 weeks included in the 2007 RoyalFantasyRodeo contest:
- First place cowboy in each event gets 10 points
- Second place cowboy in each event gets 7 points
- Third place cowboy in each event gets 5 points
- Fourth place cowboy in each event gets 3 points
In the event an event is canceled, postponed or does not occur as originally scheduled during the relevant period, all Contestants will automatically earn zero points from that event regardless of their selection.

WHO CAN PLAY?
You must be it least 18 years of age or older.

ELIGIBILITY
The Contest is open to legal residents of the continental United States, who are 18 years of age or older at the time of registration. Employees of Contest Providers, their respective parents, their affiliates and subsidiaries and the immediate family members of each are not eligible to win prizes. The American Royal staff, Prairie Circuit Rodeo associates, American Royal Western Entertainment Committee and rodeo Volunteers, and Prairie Circuit Judges are not eligible to win prizes. Prize recipients may be required to sign an affidavit of eligibility and publicity release. Acceptance of a prize constitutes permission to use winner's name and information provided by winner for promotional purposes without further compensation, unless prohibited by law. All federal, state, and local laws and regulations apply. Any and all applicable taxes are the sole responsibility of the prize winners.

HOW WILL I BE NOTIFIED IF I WIN?
All winners will be notified by email within a 48 hour time period of the rodeos final scores being posted.
